Description
The aim of the new class expectation meetings is to introduce you to your child’s new classroom
environment, new teacher and the associated expectations of their new year group. As such, these
meetings are held in your child’s new classroom and led by their new class teacher. The children
will all be in assembly at the time of the meetings. The teacher will share lots of very useful
information to guide you in supporting your child within their new year group for example:
• Personal, Social and Behavioural expectations.
• Curriculum and Academic expectations.
• Home Learning expectations.
• A walk through the website and useful information for the year group.
• How to access support from school.
• Organisational features of your new class (PE days, timetables, library etc.)
