Solent Junior School
Welcome
A very warm welcome to Solent Junior School

At Solent, our aim is simple: to provide a high-quality education for all children within the community we serve.

Solent Junior School provides a caring and nurturing educational environment at the centre of its local community. Working as part of the De Curci Trust, we pride ourselves on the standard of teaching throughout the school and the wide and enriching academic and pastoral curriculum we offer all of our pupils. In addition to our core teaching and learning staff, we have a wide range of specialist teachers so that children develop their abilities to the highest standards in sport, dance, French and music.

The learning in the classroom is complemented by a wide range of visits, residential trips and visitors to school for all children because we know that memorable experiences are key to learning and to a child’s enjoyment of school. In addition to this, we typically have over 50 clubs taking place outside the classroom every term, because we want all our children to have access to a rich and varied range of opportunities. We also provide the opportunity for many children to participate in local and county sports fixtures throughout the year.

We are an inclusive and forward thinking school that retains a relentless drive for improvement, excellence, ambition, equity and justice for all, within an environment of high challenge and low threat.

We would love to see you at one of our tours of the school. We are incredibly proud of our school and fully understand how important it is for you to experience life at Solent before deciding if this is the right environment for your child. Please contact the school office here to arrange a tour.
