I have been a Solent governor since 2017, and before that I was a governor in a primary school in Southsea for four years. I originally volunteered as I wanted to play a part in the local community where I lived, so when my family & I moved up to Farlington I wanted to continue that here. 

I believe that the most rewarding aspect of being a part of the governing board is seeing the positive impact (no matter how great or small) that we have on children’s development across their years at The Solent Schools.
